Baby Gift Baskets and Baby Diaper Cakes Are Fun!
What could be more exciting than giving personalized baby gifts? Not only it could save you a lot of money; it could also give you a sense of pride for coming up with a unique and perfect baby gift.
If you’re skilled in craft-making, then it should be easy for you to come up with brilliant ideas on how to make one. But if you think you’re not that good but still want to give it a try, there are numerous ways to create that personalized baby gift you would want to give all along.
One fantastic way is to create a basketful of baby essentials. Instead of buying the whole package which could costs you big-time, you could look for a plain and simple basket; decorate it with ribbons and other ornaments. But of course, the decorations in your basket should match with the theme of the event.
You can also decorate the basket with miniature baby bears all around the basket. You can find a lot of them at the stuff toys section of the department stores. You can buy it in bunches or just by piece. One good thing about buying in bulk is that you can save a lot of money. You can just put the bears in strings and tie it around the basket, or just stick it all over the basket by gluing the back side of the bear.
Another option is to cut baby pictures from used magazines and paste it around the basket. After decorating the basket, you are now ready to put baby essentials and accessories inside it. There’s a wide variety of baby’s essentials available at the stores to choose from.
You can choose from clothes, blankets, bibs, feeding bottles, lotions/creams and the likes depending on the theme. You can put a set of bathing essentials for a “Bathing Time Basket”. For a mom who just gave birth, you can place both mom and the baby’s essentials like diapers, creams for rashes, infant clothes or feeding bottles for the baby; and for the mom, you can put a baby guide book and some relaxing essentials in the basket. You can then name it “Mom and Baby Basket”.
If you want to give bedtime essentials, you can put relaxing music for both the baby and the mother, bedtime clothes for the both of them and a book about parenting in the basket and name it “Bedtime for Mom and Baby”. Another basket theme that really clicks with the new moms is the “Breastfeeding Basket”.
You can place blankets and pillows for the baby, breast pumps, nursing pads and other breastfeeding accessories and a breastfeeding book for the mom. You can add a feeding bottle if you like to complete the theme basket.
The ideas are numerous. But whatever basket you would give the recipient, make sure it is done with love and passion because in the end, it’s the idea that you really care for them that is greatly appreciated.

I make baby shower gifts, where can I post flyers?
I make baby shower gifts such as diaper cakes, diaper wreaths and gift baskets, etc.. I have made flyers to spread the word to hopefully have some requests come in, however I have no idea where I can hang/post the flyers for no cost?! Any ideas? Help!
Someone mentioned posting my flyers on the internet, I am not sure how to do that? I called walmart and party city and babies r us, and none of them allow people to post their own flyers or anything? Anyone know what i can do to spread the word?!

I would post pictures on eBay & CraigsList. It will be less time consuming and more effective. Probably cheaper too.
