Some Children Require Different Parenting Skills

Unfortunately, there is no manual that teaches parenting.  If there was one, the author would likely get rich very quick, because all parents face challenges at one time or another.  It is just a fact of life, and it never ceases to amaze.

Honestly, there are plenty of parenting books out there, and many of them have some wonderful advice.  They teach parenting from every angle imaginable, and yet somehow, these so called experts dont realize that in order for a parent to have success with all of their children, they first need to know which parenting techniques work for that particular child and their issues and personality.  It is all a matter of categorizing the children.  Unfortunately, you could parent four or five kids and for some your parenting style will work, however for others all the tricks in the book dont have any affect at all and you may be left feeling frustrated.

This is why I make the suggestion that people read all the information that they can about parenting.  The books, the websites, and the online chat and blogs of other parents, and then take what you can use and adapt it to your own life and children.  There are some really great things that can be learned by the experts, but they also need to be adapted in many cases to different children and their personalities.

When you have a difficult parenting situation, dont be afraid to go online and ask the questions you have.  You can get a lot of really great advice from other parents, and they sometimes will provide you with more useful advice than the experts.  Why, you may ask? The answer is simple.  These are the people in the trenches.  They are the ones who are learning by trial and error.  Sure they dont have the time to sit and write a book, but still they know the information and they can help you.

Parenting struggles can really wear you down, but dont give up.  Use all the resources out there to get the information and support you need.  There are some really great information sites that offer you online resources and support at your fingertips.  Dont be afraid to ask for help.  All parents need help and resources to get through.  You are not alone.

Does anyone can check my grammar and grammatical mistakes and can give correct information please?
I’m working voluntary in a special school which is for year5 and year6 Autistic children. That children are In national curriculum at key stage is 2.children with autism find it difficult to transfer their learning to different situations and also children are learning in a very basic skills.
I believe, the national curriculum is a framework and sets out the subjects taught, the knowledge, skills and understanding required in each subject, standards targets in each subjects and teachers can use child’s progress and plan the next steps in their learning and how the child’s progress is assessed and reported.
I have seen in my class, how the class teacher and children are followed the national curriculum about their subjects:
In English, children should be given the opportunity to speak, write and listen in a range of situations and children encouraged to communicate their likes, dislikes, feelings and emotions about them and also children should be encouraged to use symbols and make expressive movements with the hands and arms to through the use of PECS.
In mathematics, children are using numbers, shape, cube and measure and some below average children are using PECS method it’s can enable children to access mathematical activities and increase their mathematical vocabulary. Children will have the opportunity to experience of communicating and handling information about their ICT levels. children encouraged to their P.E about football, dance, gymnastics and swimming activities and also the class teacher and children are playing together in P.E time.
Schools also have to teach religious education, children should be given the opportunity to participate in a collective act of worship about religious celebration which is usually takes place in the school hall.
Overall, every children on going assessment about their termly IEP progress and also class teachers have kept Sample of children works and parents received the national curriculum levels and a statement forms part of the annual review report about children IEP goals and also children received regular speech therapy assessments.
Next time, I will improve to children their understanding levels and their knowledge of subjects related to national curriculum and then I will be more confident in working with them.
